Trip Prep

Today is our preparation day for our trip to Spain and Germany to celebrate Janie's Birthday!  Squeezing in all the final work actions that need to be done, cleaning up the fall mess in the yard, packing, letting everyone know where you will be, prepping the house for being gone, paying bills, visiting grand-kids and generally switching mindset to vacation time!!!!!

This morning started with a bright blue sky with fog clouds over the water by the dam, so we hope that is an omen for good things to come.  Although the forecast for our destination is not the most optimal, we will adapt and conquer.  Ok, I'm panicked about about how to pack for warm here, cooler in Spain and out right winter in Germany.

We head out to KCI around 10 a.m. tomorrow for a quick flight to MPLS to connect to our flight to JFK and then our flight to Barcelona to arrive around 9 a.m.  Then its off to the hotel, checkin and start enjoyment of our first destination.

The morning of the 9th we fly to Munich, Germany.  On the 10th, I'm attending a work event, hence the detour from our original Spain agenda.

The morning of the 12th we fly to Madrid to enjoy our last 4 days in Spain.

FYI, we will be checking up on emails and stuff when we get hotel internet time and will have our phones on in case of emergencies.
